FC Halifax Town have announced the departure of defenders Adam Adetoro and Jevon Mills. Adetoro was signed by Chris Millington in the summer of 2024 from Sheffield Wednesday and played 36 league games in his first season – scoring on his debut at home to Barnet – as well as appearing in the club’s 4-0 play-off defeat at Oldham. He made 30 league appearances last season under Adam Lakeland, who had said at the end of last season than Adetoro’s option would be triggered, but the centre-back has now left the club. Mills was signed by Lakeland and made 24 league appearances last season for Town, scoring once in the 4-0 home win over Braintree in December.
