FC Halifax Town have confirmed the signing of centre back Mackenzie Maltby from League One side Sheffield Wednesday. Maltby joins the Shaymen after progressing through the youth ranks at Sheffield Wednesday, where he was named captain of the under 18s.
The defender's experience in the National League North with Scarborough Athletic will be valuable to FC Halifax Town.
This signing is a key addition to the squad as they look to build on their recent form, with 2 wins in their last 2 games, and a 8th place finish in the National League.
