FC Halifax Town have been drawn at home to South Shields in the Emirates FA Cup fourth qualifying round. The tie is scheduled for Saturday 17 October at 3pm.

The Shaymen, who sit 13th in the National League with 17 points from 12 games, will face a side currently fourth in the tier below. Winners of the match will receive £9,375 in prize money, with the losers taking £3,125.

Halifax head into the cup clash on the back of a 2-0 away win at Solihull Moors last week. That victory was part of a recent run of form that has seen them win two, draw two, and lose one of their last five matches across all competitions. In that period, they have scored a total of 7 goals while conceding 5. Their next fixture is a home league match against bottom side Gateshead this Saturday, which they must focus on before the cup tie.

Fixture and ticket information for the FA Cup tie will be released by the club in due course.
