Conte began his career with Brentford and QPR before making his professional debut at Cardiff City, where he made three appearances towards the end of the 2023-24 season. He featured a couple more times for the Bluebirds at the start of the 2024-25 campaign before joining Woking on loan in the National League, making nine appearances.
Last season, Conte played 17 times for Morecambe, featuring in both home and away fixtures against FC Halifax Town. His experience in the division and familiarity with the Shaymen’s style of play were noted factors in the club’s decision to sign him.
